Welcome to the international area of the Faculty of Economics!
The Faculty offers its students and researchers numerous opportunities for study, research and internship abroad: mobility in Europe under Erasmus + agreements, mobility outside the EU and under bilateral agreements, thesis activities and internship at foreign companies or university laboratories (Erasmus + Traineeship), programs to support double degree courses. Students who decide to enrich their academic curriculum by spending a period at a partner institution, will have the opportunity to access the calls associated with these initiatives and formalize the full recognition of credits acquired abroad. Likewise, foreign students who choose the Faculty for their mobility path will have support and guidance during their study period at Sapienza.
Sapienza also, through the University Language Center (CLA), offers the opportunity, to students wishing to reach their language knowledge goal, to follow preparation courses for Cambridge ESOL and IELTS exams for the English language and preparation courses. the DELE and SIELE exams for the Spanish language, and the Italian courses for foreign students. The Faculty organizes several international seminars useful for the acquisition of training credits and to deepen own preparation and acquire important soft skills

Application must be submitted online and during the procedure you will need to upload the following documents:- copy of a valid passport (page with photo)
- certificate proving the student's proficiency of the English language, e.g., TOEFL/IELTS (this does not apply to native English speakers)
- oficial transcripts of academic records of Bachelor Degree
- letter(s) of recommendation
- curriculum vitae
- motivation letter

ARE ALL THE COURSES OFFERED IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE?
Yes, all the courses part of the pre-selection online through the platform in our Faculty of Economics are held in English language, except for the course of Management delle Imprese that will be held both in Italian and English language, depending on the curriculum you choose.IF MY COURSE IS HELD IN ITALIAN DO I NEED TO SUBMIT A CERTIFICATE OF ITALIAN LANGUAGE?
Yes. it is not mandatory, but it would be better if you submit it. In the month of September, you will have to do the Italian language test at Sapienza University in Rome. Depends on the single case: for students holding a degree where English is the principle language of the course, the Scientific Board shall decide independently, evaluating the single case in accordance with the requirements published in the website for any single course in the Faculty of Economics.
English proficiency: The following test scores are accepted:- IELTS Academic 6.5 or higher
- TOEFL IbT 80 or higher
- TOEIC Listening & Reading 730 or higher
Please note: the above requirements may be waived for students holding a degree from an accredited institution where English is the principle language of instruction.
I HAVE A GMAT/CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATE: CAN THEY INCREASE MY POSSIBILITY TO BE ACCEPTED TO SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY?
No, Gmat/Cambridge certificates do not increase in particular the score but it is accepted.I STILL HAVEN’T SUBMITTED MY IELTS TEST, CAN I APPLY AND DECLARE MY IELTS SCORE LATER?
No, it is not recommended. You can apply only after your Ielts test, by declaring it in your application with a receipt of your prenotation payment.I HAVE BEEN ADMITTED FROM SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY EVEN IF I HAVEN’T DECLARED MY IELTS YET: DO I STILL NEED TO SUBMIT IT?
Yes, you still need to submit your Ielts score in case you have done it by sending an email to internationalstudents-eco@uniroma1.it. The procedure for a visa process will be easier for you if you present the Ielts.I HAVE BEEN ADMITTED FROM SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Your application will be evaluated within 40 days from the date of submission. Except for the course of Finance and Insurance you need to wait from 40 to 60 days before having an answer. Yes, everyone must pay the 10 euro slip fee. After the registration on Infostud you should make your payment for the Enrolment stamping the 10 euro slip fee for the verification assessment even if you have the pre-acceptance letter.I HAVE ALREADY PAY THE 10 EURO SLIP FEE, WHAT TO DO NEXT?
