Mentorship Sapienza was born from the experience of the European project "TandEM," promoted in 2018/2019 by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and developed in several European countries to support foreign university students. The project aims to raise awareness among academic communities on the issues of social inclusion and intercultural communication.
The Mentorship Committee is coordinated by Prof. Cristina Giudici and the two senior mentors, Tabea Seyffarth and Manuel Ismail. It is made up of 47 volunteer mentor students from various degree courses.
IOM promotes the initiative with the support of the Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration of the Ministry of the Interior in partnership with the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI).
