What are OFAs?
If you want to enroll in a Bachelor's degree program, you must possess certain basic knowledge. For this reason, before enrolling, you will be required to take an entrance test (TOLC-E CISIA).
If the test results reveal any gaps (i.e., you did not reach the minimum required score), you will still be allowed to enroll. However, you will be assigned OFAs – Learning debts, which you must fulfill.

I have an OFA – how can I fulfill it?
You can fulfill your OFAs in one of the following ways:

  • By completing an online recovery course covering the required entry knowledge, followed by a test. This test is held in person (Lab Info) on the Moodle platform.
  • By passing the Mathematics exam.

What happens if I don’t pass the OFA?
If you are assigned an OFA and do not fulfill it within your first year of study, you may still enroll in the following year. However, you will not be allowed to take second-year exams until the OFA is fulfilled.
The OFAs must be completed even after the first year, if not previously fulfilled.

OFA Course – Economics
The OFA ECONOMICS course is an online recovery path available on the Moodle platform, designed to help students catch up on required entry-level knowledge. It includes didactic materials and exercises prepared by faculty members. After completing the course, students can take the OFA test, which is available from June to December.

To support students in fulfilling their OFAs and to facilitate a smooth academic start, the Faculty of Economics organizes in-person math pre-courses for all students (whether or not they have been assigned an OFA), starting in September.
Additionally, the Faculty offers an intensive tutoring programmes to support first-year students throughout the academic year.

OFA Test
The test lasts 60 minutes and consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. To pass, students must answer at least 12 questions correctly.
